About S. R. Hawkins

S. R. Hawkins, or Sunni, is a full-time artist, wife, and mother of two. She lives a busy but joyful life surrounded by her family— two kids, two dogs, and a mischievous cat. At the heart of it all is her husband, who she believes is her soul mate and the reason she believes in fate. His constant support is the only way any of this could happen. After turning 30, Sunni decided to gift herself the one thing she’d always dreamed of: a book of her own, written and illustrated for all to enjoy. Although she’s been writing for years, she never imagined that her stories would one day find a home. But here we are—her illustrated fantasy novel is now a reality, a product of dedication, passion, and a bit of magic. When she’s not writing or creating art, Sunni enjoys singing, cuddling up in bed to read, or playing Dungeons and Dragons deep into the wee hours of the night. Her journey is proof that with hard work and dedication, dreams can come true.
